
Silja-Madli Ossip is a Policy Expert in the Cybersecurity Branch of the Estonian Information System Authority, where she currently works on global cybersecurity capacity building through an EU funded project “EU CyberNet”. She has been responsible for national, regional and European cybersecurity policy and EU projects, as well as partner management and outreach in advancing the cybersecurity ecosystem. Additionally, she has managed some cyber hygiene and awareness projects in Estonia.
During 2015-2017, Ms. Ossip worked in Brussels on wider digital policy issues. She worked in the Estonian Presidency of EU Digital Team where she was managing the operations of the telecommunications and cybersecurity working parties. Prior to the EU Presidency, she used to work in the Microsoft Government Affairs’ office on privacy and cybersecurity policies, as well as on wider Digital Single Market topics.
