Jerzy Mościński received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland. He has taught several courses in the field of Control, Signal Processing and Computer Science, he also coordinated the organization of international co-operation at Silesian University of Technology, including collaboration within EU Framework and Horizon Programmes in the field of research and development. He was involved in numerous international collaboration projects of various profile, including the organization of two large international conferences on education research. For several years he was involved in the international collaboration in the field of open and distance learning, CACSD, global environment change and ecosystems and other. From 2001 he participated in several thematic networks projects concerning the harmonization of curricula in the field of electrical and information engineering. From 2008 he was head of university division for scientific international cooperation, from 2016 he is Director of IT Center at Silesian University of Technology. His main areas of interest include advanced control and signal processing, computer networks and security, computer based education, internet and multimedia technologies, international collaboration in education and research as well as organization of research.
