LOOKING INTO THE CYBERFUTURE THROUGH THE EYES OF YOUNG LEADERS
ABOUT CYBERSEC YOUNG LEADERS
Continuing the CYBERSEC Young Leaders initiative launched last year by the Kosciuszko Institute, we would like to warmly invite MA and PhD students to take part in the CALL FOR PAPERS on challenges in cyberspace within the domains of international relations, economics, national security, defence, etc.
Our aim is to create a coalition of educational institutions that will patronize the quest for young leaders who are aware of the significance of cyber challenges and assist them in boosting their careers within the domain. The universities are kindly asked to share the information about the Call for Papers with their students.
HOW TO ENGAGE?
Authors of the 3 best papers will be invited as VIP guests to the fifth anniversary edition of the European Cybersecurity Forum – CYBERSEC that will be held on 29 and 30 October 2019 in Katowice, Poland.
Launched in 2015, CYBERSEC is a successful and well-established annual public policy conference dedicated to strate-gic security aspects of the global technology revolution. Now recognised as one of the top five European cybersecurity public policy conferences, with editions in Katowice, Krakow, Warsaw, Brussels and Washington DC, CYBERSEC gathers the most prominent leaders and experts to provide impactful contributions to the strengthening of the founda-tions of the digital world.
The leitmotif of this year’s CYBERSEC edition is Securing the world’s digital DNA. Digitalization is an indispensable process penetrating every aspect of our reality, from daily life to the economy, states and societies. Therefore, embed-ding security into that process is key, both in terms of our societal functioning and prosperity.
Papers that pertain to our leitmotif are particularly welcomed.
WINNERS WILL BE GRANTED:
- A VIP pass for the whole conference, including travel & accommodation and unlimited networking opportunities.
- Invitation to afterhours events, e.g. CYBERSEC Banquet.
- Invitation to selected closed thematic working sessions (a list to be announced).
- Publication of their articles in the European Cybersecurity Journal.
- CYBERSEC 2019 Young Leaders statuette.
