We are pleased to announce the signing of a letter of intent regarding the promotion of modern technologies, the development of innovative economy and broadly understood cybersecurity.
The ubiquitous digital transformation requires the embedding of cybersecurity in the DNA of the digital world - this is what requires the involvement of regions and cities. More and more European regions recognise this process as an opportunity for development.
The Silesian Voivodeship is a place of dynamic economic development and ongoing transformation from an economy based on heavy industry to a multidimensional modern economy of high technologies, services and innovative industrial production. The voivodeship authorities also note the great importance of cybersecurity in a developed society using more and more high technology equipment.
"Today, the topic of cybersecurity is very broad. It consists of more and more elements, because our lives are becoming less and less analogue, and more and more often digital. We also want to be a leading player in this regard. We will cooperate only with the best, and the Kosciuszko Institute is undoubtedly one of them," said Jakub Chełstowski, the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship.
For these reasons, it is justified to establish cooperation between the Silesian Voivodeship and the Kosciuszko Institute, which brings together and cooperates with experts in the field of cybersecurity, promotes new solutions in this field and organizes the largest conference devoted to this topic in Central and Eastern Europe.
